I think this whole baby thing has you very confused. I am pretty sure you think everyone has a baby in their belly and you keep asking if you can take the baby out of mommy's tummy. Oh how I wish you could...=)
You keep saying you are ready to be a big brother - not sure if I should take you seriously or not. We think things will make a lot more sense tomorrow once the baby is here and you can actually see and touch him/her.
Meanwhile life goes on for all of us while we wait. We have been passing the time lately by playing a lot of Candy Land - though you call it Candy Landy and it makes us laugh every time we hear you say that. And you are awesome at putting your shoes on by yourself almost always knowing which is the right and left foot.
You are very interested in spelling words, asking what this spells or what that spells. You ask questions when your daddy and I are talking saying things like, "what you talking for?" Your little brain must be growing like crazy.
The other thing we are discussing a lot about is preschool which starts in two-weeks. You still aren't sure you want to go yet but we attended an open house this past weekend and you had a pretty great time. I hope your skepticism fades as you get used to going and having fun.
Potty training is still non-existent but you insist you are going to start going on the potty after your birthday in September. I am all for it though I don't believe you much...
Finally, you have become quite verbally affectionate randomly telling us you love us or the other day you stroked my hair and said, "mommy you look nice today." Made my heart melt.
Here is to your last night before becoming the best big brother ever.
Love you E,
Mommy
