Newsletter Month: 23
Elliot - today you turn 23-months old! We continue to see more of your personality everyday.

You are becoming such a big boy wanting to be so independent. You like to let the dog in and out, opening the door yourself. You don't always give her enough room to get in but she has learned to squeeze by. We have purchased a couple of step stools so you can wash your hands and turn lights on and off by yourself.

You are very affectionate wanting to give hugs, kisses - you say muah, and Eskimo kisses. New words this month are upah(up), nummy, moon and sun.
Your sleeping habits have been all messed up. You are having a hard time falling asleep, getting up out of bed 3-40 times before you fall asleep. It really tests our patience! Then you often get up 1-3 times at night. And especially after 4am you think that is the time you should climb into our bed. I really hope this is just a phase that you will soon grow out of.

Finding trouble continues to entertain you. From getting into the flour container, to stacking bowls and boxes to climb on a cabinet, to playing with the faucet. Any silence is often followed by a big uh-oh...we anticipate this only continuing for many years to come =)
Love,
Mama
