Summer is flying by and it has been hot and steamy! We have been at the pool a lot recently as the heat index has been in the 100's! You are content with sitting in the wading pool scooping up water in cups and pouring it out over and over.

You are asking a lot of questions these days including, "what do you want to do now?", "what's next?", "what we doing today?" You are into traffic lights, announcing when to stop and go. Which means you are a bit annoying as a back seat driver! Other phrases you are saying are, "I can't", "I need help", "I do it myself", "I need to go first." Your growth toward independence continues.

When we come from being gone somewhere you often say, "How was your day?" and "did you miss me?" Of course we did!
As new baby approaches you are definetly more clingy and needing hugs and attention. When you hear me say my back hurts or my feet hurt you immediatly interject by saying, "my tummy hurts." Guessing that is going to continue for a while after baby gets here. Hoping the adjustment period isn't too awful...

You are becoming such a big boy, so inqusitive and energetic. Putting your shoes on yourself, dressing yourself, etc. just demonstrate how big you really are. Even though you are getting so big, so fast and even though a new baby is coming even faster, you will always be our baby boy.
