We are spending a ton of time outside, at the park, at the pool, going for walks, etc.
You have given up your nap and just go-go-go from morning until night and then often crash without a peep. Your buzz cut and your farmer tan match your summer mood!
You ask "why?" about 1,000 times a day. I try really hard to answer you as much as possible before answering with, "because I said so" or "because I am the mommy and I make the rules." You talk non-stop to the point where sometimes I ask you to be quiet for five minutes and you look at me like I am crazy.
Spitting on things other than the sink has become quite hilarious to you and quite frustrating to your daddy and I. We are hoping that one is a short phase... Hitting has died down a bit (crossing our fingers) and you have become more clingy to me especially. I think you sense that big changes are approaching and are a little skeptical. Frankly so are we =)
You continue to be a great helper, insisting on watering plants for our neighbor Ceci. You two are good buddies and is way cooler than we are. Let's hope that helper mentality continues and you will want to help us with your brother or sister. Time will tell, 7-weeks to go!
When we ask you what we should name the baby you say, "E". But then I say that is what we call you sometimes. The wheels in your brain turn a bit and then you say we should name the baby "F''. Logical right?
