Newsletter Month: 20

Elliot - two-days ago you turned 20-months old! Your daddy and I feel like you have changed tremendously this month and your language is exploding!

New words this month include: cracker, baby, more, car, banana, please, welcome and poop. We find poopie to be quite hilarious as you sound like a russian mob guy when you say it, it sounds more like boop with a heavy accent.

You and Wini continue to entertain/frustrate us. And we are thankful that she puts up with you because you have really been letting her have it. You will say "nice, nice" while petting her and then immediately slap her hard, waiting for us to tell you to be nice again...this cycle can go on and on.
I have caught you eating her dog food (yummy) and stepping in her water bowl. Yesterday you tried to dump the water bowl on your head (again real nice).
Brushing your teeth is another favorite thing to do. And we are happy to give your toothbrush anytime you ask for it. However I am now on to you kid, I caught you brushing your teeth, brushing Wini's teeth and then brushing your teeth again! Gross!

Mr. Mischief is what I call you sometimes as you continue to explore and test boundaries. Like when you emptied a container of baking soda all over yourself in the kitchen. Or how about when you put random things into the toilet and the trash when we aren't looking. Or maybe when you climb on top of the coffee table and then try to climb on top of the TV (you nearly gave me a heart attack). You keep us on our toes and we don't trust you much but man do you make us laugh!

Identifying parts of your body is fun for you. You can point to your hair, head, eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, ears, tummy, hands, fingers, feet, toes. You like to find them on us too and will randomly shove a finger at our noses or our eyes.

We look forward to hearing you talk more and see more of your personality.

Love,

Mama
