Newseltter: Month 12

One-year old! Wow! At times this year has blown by and other times it has moved slowly. Hard to believe it has been a whole year. Feels like you have been here forever.
Here is what a year ago looked like:

Somehow you have grown out of being a baby and are now a toddler. In to everything, so curious and always busy. You are so fun to watch and play with these days.
Your language is exploding. "No, no, no" is a favorite right now and "hi" and "hey" are popular. You say "cup" but never to an actual cup just randomly. You also have this jabbering rant and we can tell that you have so much to say just can't get it out.

Waving is a new thing - you use your whole arm to wave and sometimes wave at your self in the mirror. Speaking of the mirror - it has become quite the entertainment for you. You flirt with yourself in it and laugh, having no idea that you are looking at you...

Your daddy got you some balls for your birthday this morning, as you seem to like to roll them and play catch. However, earlier today the basketball started to roll back at you which scared you to death. Sorry for laughing so hard at you during this terrifying moment. =) Hopefully you will conquer that fear soon.

By far the funniest thing you are doing right now is your version of barking. When Wini barks, no matter where you are, you rush to her side and start yelling AHHHH! You match her volume and pitch pretty well. Sometimes you even start petting here while yelling as if to say, "calm down, what is all the fuss about?" Pretty hilarious!

No walking yet - you are just starting to let go while standing until you realize it, then immediately drop to the ground. We know that it is only a matter of days before you are walking all over the place...should be fun!

Love,

Mama
