Newsletter Month: 9

Elliot - yesterday you turned nine months old. Crazy! The best way to describe you this month is busy. You are into everything, pulling yourself up onto people, your crib, the couch, etc. You are pulling, grabbing, yanking, everything in sight. We can't take our eyes off you for a second.

On June 1 you starting saying both mama and dada - after about a day of that, you forgot about me now only say dada. We are pretty sure you aren't certain what it means all of the time, but definitely when dada gets home, your motor mouth starts going. It is quite precious to witness.
It makes your daddy smile every time. Now if we could master mama again, everyone in the household will be smiling. Except for Wini of course.

You are scooting all over the place, still only backwards. This frustrates you a bit - sometimes you look at me like mom - how in the heck do I go that way? You are up on all fours a lot rocking, back and forth like you are ready to launch. We are scurrying to baby proof the house as we know our days our numbered. Everyone's world here is about to change. We can't wait!

E needed a bigger carseat as he out grew his. It came in this large box that Rob saved and remodeled for Elliot to play in. It now includes a door, windows, skylights, etc. E was quite mesmerized by it...
