Just a few short weeks ago - you couldn't hang grab or hang on to a teether. Now you are reaching and yanking all sorts of things, including my hair! You are even reaching out to hold our hands which is quite precious.
Teething has been quite the adventure this month - you now have four teeth, three on the bottom and one on top and we suspect three more on top will poke through any day. In the past you have tolerated teething fairly well. These top ones though have made you pretty crabby and miserable. Can't say that we blame you.
Solid foods were the other big adventure this month. You are now eating rice cereal, sweet potatoes, avocados, bananas and apples. You still are a bit unsure as to this eating with a spoon thing. Most of the time you want to be "helpful" and grab the spoon yourself. Which usually leads to it being flung somewhere in the dining room. Wini isn't complaining as she is licking up your leftovers.
Speaking of Wini - it has been fun to witness you finally realize her and reach out to pet her. She usually takes this to mean that you want her to lick your, hand, face, feet, etc...she gets a bit excited. I keep waiting for you to protest - but you just keep reaching for more. And we find you just watching her as she trots past you. I think you guys are going to be great friends.
Your daddy and I can't believe you are six months old already. On the other hand it feels like you have been here forever bringing so much joy to our lives.
